FUNDRAISING
Our organization relies on fundraising, sponsorships, and our family contributions (fair share) in order to run smoothly. We will work to provide fundraising opportunities when possible to offset our families’ costs.
Our biggest fundraiser each year is hosting our indoor winter competition, Winter Blast. We require every band family (adult and student) to volunteer for at least one shift during Winter Blast. Details to come.
raise right
RaiseRight.com is a platform that allows you to purchase e-gift cards for various stores or brands, receive the e-gift card immediately, and apply that gift card balance to purchases right away. For every e-gift card you purchase, Raise Right calculates a rebate as a portion of the purchase price and sends the rebate to AFHS Bands Boosters.
Starting June 1, 2025, AFHS Bands Boosters will credit any rebates from your e-gift card purchases to your family fair share account. The more you spend through Raise Right, the more credit you can earn to reduce your family fair share balance.
Please note: Raise Right funds will be applied to CutTime balances when they are received. Any amount earned in excess of the CutTime balance will be carried forward as a credit and applied to future program charges (winter program fair share, concert fees, next year’s fair share). Any Raise Right funds remaining upon graduation or leaving the band program for any reason will be transferred to the general band fund. Cash refunds will never be provided for Raise Right earnings that exceed the fair share and fees associated with the program.

Be sure to include the FIRST and LAST name of your student in the STUDENT NAME box.
Install the plugin extension, set AFHS Patriot Regiment as the recipient and include your student’s name to automatically earn for the Patriot Regiment through RaiseRight when you shop with participating brands online.
